What is a memory skirt? It’s a custom skirt made from garments a loved one has owned. It’s a great way to remember someone special.

Above are two skirts we created for a very dear friend and her sister who had recently lost their mother. These were some of their mom’s shirts that we started with.

Our friend had this to share: “Last Saturday was our Mom’s Memorial Service. When Mom passed away in December, my sister and I gave all of Mom’s mock turtleneck shirts (which she wore ALL the time) to Kelli. Through her magic, Kelli whipped up “memory skirts” using Mom’s shirts for my sister and I to wear! Aren’t they awesome?! We felt truly wrapped in Mom’s embrace and it gave us those warm fuzzy feelings all day, and every day that we will wear these skirts!”
